The Mizoram authorities on Saturday ordered a “partial lockdown” throughout all districts of the state until March 29 within the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, in accordance with a notification.
The notification was issued following a choice of the state-level job pressure on mitigation of coronavirus and subsequent approval by the cupboard late within the night, officers stated.
As per the notification issued by the Normal Administration Division, restrictions might be in place in all districts from March 22 until March 29.
All shops, barring pharmacies and people promoting important commodities, will stay shut in the course of the interval, the notification stated.
All business and personal automobiles, together with two-wheeler taxis, is not going to be allowed to ply in the course of the interval, it stated.
Ambulances, hearth and emergency companies, automobiles used for legislation and order duties and people of accredited journalists might be allowed, it stated, including that these on medical obligation to comprise coronavirus and transporting important commodities might be exempted.
